About

Since earning my BFA in Illustration from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, I’ve been working as a graphic designer|illustrator. Throughout my career I’ve had the opportunity to design for several fortune 500 companies; developed branding, signage and merchandise, for major PGA and NCAA basketball tournaments; a luggage line in Target; concert posters and magazine covers; not to mention countless other projects from packaging to branding and product design.

Today I focus primarily on illustration and surface pattern design. I transition between painting both digitally and in watercolor and love to combine the two. I draw inspiration from travel, family, nature…..life. From textures in a rusting grain silo, graffiti on a passing train, or family travel with my husband and two daughters. I’m always finding something new to incorporate into my illustration and feel like the possibilities are endless. Most days you will find me either working in my studio next to my two dogs in the suburbs of Chicago, backyard (when it’s not 2 degrees) or the local coffee shop.

I enjoy the challenge of running my own creative business. Not only the variety of work it provides but building relationships with clients. It’s so much easier to communicate ideas and collaborate when you get to know the person you’re working with. Thank you for stopping by and looking at my work. I look forward to the possibility of working with you!
